Every room is light filled by the large window sets and sliders that erase the boundary with the outside giving unparalleled views of the mountains and stars. The modified longhouse floorplan is connected by a glass tunnel and winter garden area to create an effortless flow from end to end with the central house perfectly accommodating the no-hardware, Euro-contemporary/modern kitchen. Unobtrusive pocket doors allow for privacy when desired. The black scissor trusses and black window frames are a subtle complement to the black vertical siding giving the feeling of being enwrapped by the house. Everyone is kept comfortable through high efficiency windows and heat pumps/radiant floor heat as well as the use of foam insulation in all exterior walls/ceilings. It is simply a joy to live in and be part of this modern, flowing house.”
